Well, two of my three corgis play very roughly with one another and keep bounding back across the room for more, body slamming, snarling, lips curled, full Nelsons, etc., etc. Seldomly, but there have been moments when it escalated and I would have to play the boss card. I would supervise the play of such a young, malleable pup. When I purchased Linus from Anne Bowes, she was adamant about this because a pup can get badly hurt in the blink of an eye; not out of viciousness but more the pup's lack of bone strength and one dog obviously weighing much more. Your corgis are displaying typical spitzhund play moves. When Linus reached one year of age, I let 'em at it. They have been going strong ever since!

I also recall seeing Al puppy, the household newbie, with his jaws around the throat of Jack the Tripper, our big, tough tomcat. The cat, upside-down on the floor and helpless-looking, had his paw right across the puppy's face '-- could've ripped out an eye in a blink -- never even opened a claw. Oh, maybe once or twice, to show who's boss. They had it all figured out in no time.

Cinammon doesn't look scared, and she's not avoiding Nutmeg, or hiding. One thing to look for: if one dog squeaks or yelps in real fright, the other dog should obey this "Back Off Please!" signal immediately.
Al & Gwynn used to have really ferocious-looking play, snarling, bared teeth -- Al was a bit older, we got him at 12 weeks (3 yrs ago next weekend) -- they never tired of killing each other repeatedly, ripping out each others' throats and faces over and over again. Gosh, I'm glad all the blood I had to clean up was only make-believe.
Thanks for jogging the memories.

My Jordan is 2 and Teagens 7 months now I only stepped in if I thought that she seemed harrassed....like not being able to get up or move because of the play......if your worried step in if the little one goes right back at your older one then well theirs your answer.....I'd intervene sometimes and Teagen and Jordan would look at me like what's your problem while Teagen launched herself back at Jordan

I don't have speakers on my computer at work so I can't hear it, but what I can see, it looks like Nutmeg is responding to you and also stopping before going too far. Soffie played like this with Griffyn. And believe me he let her know when he had had enough. I think they both will learn their boundries. Just be careful that it doesn't escalate into something more agressive. BTW the video is great!

Are you keeping them separated most of the time. This is should be ok for short period of time per day.

I don't think so, that's how mine played when I got Lyla (she was 12 weeks and Sky was 1). I just always made sure I supervised all of their interactions until I felt comfortable that no one would get hurt.

Cinnamon doesn't look like she's scared and not liking it...maybe if she does this often you might want to tell Nutmeg to "leave it" so it doesn't become an "all the time" thing but mine have always played like this as long as it's not too rough or constant! Cute videos...what fun to have a little one again!

Is Nutmeg being too aggressive? Do I need to step in? She's always had Superstar and Boots to play with on their visits, but neither of them were this small. I don't want a diva on my hands either.
