New Toy and New Trick!

This weekend has been a very, fun, productive one for Orion. Yesterday we went to petsmart to spend my petsmart giftcard and got a ChuckIt! flying squirrel which Orion is totally and completely in love with:

This was his first time in petsmart and I could barely get through the store due to the flock of people hovering around me with squeals of "oohhh looks a corgi!" or "Oh I've seen corgis before but never a puppy!!!" There were children shrieking "oh look at his EAARSS!" Some people asked what kind of dog he was and had never heard of corgis. Once I finally navigated through the crowd to the toy section I noticed a man was following me. When he saw me noticing him following he said "Um... excuse me, ma'am.... Uh, would you mind... may I see your corgi?" It was so hard not to laugh.

Then today Orion learned "turned around" which my mom is completely in love with. Since she's so amazed by his turning ability, she's made him turn around about a thousand times today and now any time she approaches Orion with a treat he immediately turns around which is really hilarious.

When Yoda is in the back seat of my car, he would open the window and look out (yes, he knows how to open the automatic car window). People on scooter would smile at him and pet him at the red light. I always have to be careful when the light turn green and take off.
