I don't know if humans can catch it. I did not catch it but Misty and Izzy past it back and forth and Sparty got it too. Reminded me of when my kids were young. (and not in a good way) I decided to see the vet to put an end to it. I don't know if it would have caused real problems or not and they were not bothered at all.I figured it was better to get rid of it.
Thanks, It doesn't seem as bad this morning?? Does it wax and wane like that.. good then bad???? It doesn't seem to be bothering them at all?? I'll probably call their doc in the AM with Christmas coming up. Can humans get it from them???

Yes we just had a round started by the doberman. It went around all three of them a couple times but some eye drops from the vet finally cleared it up. It was a real hassle. Sorry!
Nutmeg gets that whenever she comes in contact with the cats in the neighborhood. The vet told me to wash out with saline. I've spent tons on vet appts and RX's....Cinnamon doesn't show it yet, so I dont think it's cont....just allergies?

Yes they can, and it's very painful so if you think they have it go to the vet when you get a chance. Discharge and a pinkish eye doesn't automatically mean conjunctivitis though. My Aussie had it as a pup and it was very obvious. He was lethargic and very squinty.
