The only thing to do is keep going on.  There will be another day.  The family will make another home.  There will be more puppies.  My heart goes out to all.  Life is cruel sometimes.

My mom often told the story of how their home burned down when she was a girl.  I cannot imagine.

That's just terrible, and so very sad.  I surely hope that the family was able to get out of the house.  They must be absolutely devastated to lose their home and their beloved pets.  So sorry to hear this.  Hopefully they will be able to find another pup that needs a good home before too long.  I know how it is to wait for your little guy....this is especially tough.  :(
