Randy is doing very well. Thank you all for your comments. Leo was very happy to see Randy and they are back to being best buds. Randy did not have any complications and has a very small incision that will hardly leave a scar. I am watching him close for infection and so far (fingers crossed) no problems. He does not lick on it or act like he knows it is there. He is taking a pain pill in the morning that might help with itching also.

How is Randy doing? Was Leo thrilled to have him back at home? We need to make our surgery appointment soon; I dread it!

Leo is a mess this morning. He has been looking for Randy all day and keeps barking at me like I can fix it. This is so awful. I keep telling Leo that we will get Randy soon, but he looks at me and barks. Obviously we can't be separating the boys again. Thankfully we won't have to for any reason I can foresee. Thank you for the good thoughts. I can call the vet in about 30 minutes to check on Randy...and will be getting him home as soon as possible.
