Thought you guys might find this interesting. There has been a more accurate ranking system established for the intelligence of a breed/dog and you might be surprised with the results. Apparently our beloved corgis are among the ten LOWEST in intelligence on the chart.

As you noticed the Pembroke Welsh Corgi only places the 72 nd smartest dog and the Cardigan not being to far ahead at the 70th smartest. I did some more research on this new study and was quite surprised how accurate and reliable the ranking system is compared to the older one. Sorry if these new results sadden you but I hope it doesn't change the way you feel about your beloved corgis. Not too sure if this was an April Fool's joke or not...but the Corgi is smart enough to convince the Queen of England they should live like royalty in the palace!!!
I think the loyalty factor outweighs their obedience... they want to be with their people so much- they will disobey to be close, protect, or alert...

intelligence and obedience are two very different things, if not complete opposites. how can they test them together?

I was just looking and looking for Corgis and I saw Pomeranian and I thought "wait a minute I have door knobs that are smarter than a Pomeranian".
