I am updating from my phone so this will be shorter. I got to see Callie again today and was thrilled to see the improvement. She walked out to see me and was so excited she tried to jump up on me. They told me it was time for her walk and I could take her as long as she came back within a few minutes. We strolled around the building and she just kept giving me the 'i love you so much' look.
You wouldn't have been able to tell she just had a major surgery. The vet said she ate some and they are waiting to see how it goes (her first time actually eating since the surgery.) Needless to say I am so happy. We still have to pray her intestines hold up but she is showing good signs!

It may be awhile for the tests to come in, they had to send it to a lab out of town. The vet told me that they are going to start cutting down on her IV fluids and she may be able to come home tonight. She has been hungry and even tries to crawl on them to get the food when she sees it. And she is still a pain when trying to get her to take pills, which I told them she was. Time goes by so slow when waiting to hear about/see my puppy.
