There's a grassy area in the middle and a big trail around the outside but most of it is lots of trees that the dogs like to explore in. Today it had just rained so it was kind of muddy, I'm glad I brought a towel to dry them off before they got back in the car. Laika went swimming in the river last time I came but she didn't today. I've found that at fenced dog parks with lots of dogs Orion and Laika don't really act themselves, like they're intimidated or something. They usually hang around my feet and won't interact with other dogs. Here, maybe because its so open, they'll run up and say hi to other dogs and will act like their own crazy selves. So if anyone is ever in the Austin area with their pups they should totally stop by, the dogs will enjoy it!
