On Thursday, Noodles cousin, Gus, will be crossing the rainbow bridge. Gus Gus was the first doggy cousin Noodles met when we brought Noodles home and Gus Gus has always been there for Noodles. I have such wonderful memories of taking the 2 on walks and seeing this little corgi next to this black lab. Gus would always wait for Noodles to catch up and he would stick close by him. Those 2 always had a special connection with each other.
I went out to say my good-bye to him last night and you can tell he is ready. I gave him so many kisses and told him what a good puppy he is. Gus is 11.5 years young, but he's been battling cancer for at least the last year that we know of. He leaves behind 3 little boys who will greatly miss taking adventures and hikes with him. Wherever the boys would go, Gus would be right there. My sister-in-law has mentioned multiple times looking our her kitchen window and seeing the backs of 3 boys with a black lab right next to them (they live on 7 acres). She knew the boys would be safe as long as Gus was with them. We all have so many wonderful memories of him. We love you Gus and will miss you buddy!

I am so sorry. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. :(
Allison...making that very difficult decision is the truest gift of love we can give them for all their faithfulness and love they have given us.
They always move on too soon. RIP Gus.
Prayers of comfort and peace for Gus Gus' family....both human and furry. It's so hard to say good bye. He is well loved and did the best duty a dog can do....he took care of his human pups.
ohhh...that's sad. And yet somehow not: 11 1/2 years is not so bad, for a big dog. But that doesn't make one miss one's friend any the less.
R.I.P. Gus! Sending lots of hugs to you, your, family, and all the furry companions that knew Gus Gus!
RIP, Gus. Lance will be waiting to greet you at the bridge. My heart goes out to all of you in this difficult time. (((Hugs))))
