It was one year ago today that we had to put down our sweet 13 year old corgi Bailie due to aggressive lymphoma, one of the hardest days ever...She was our first corgi and is the reason we have such a love for the breed.

Bailie looked like such a sweetheart. I love the bows in her hair...so pretty. I'm glad you have such wonderful memories of her.

I lost my Sparty at 13 to cancer. He was my first corgi too and is the reason I love the breed. He will never be forgotten as your lovely little Bailie will be in your heart forever. She really had a sweet face :)

You have 13 years of wonderful memories.  It's so hard, been thru it too many times.  We lost our first corgi to lung cancer.

Such a pretty girl !!!

We lost our 1st to the same thing when he was only 4, it has only been a couple years but I still think of him everyday. We jumped right back because our need a corgi... :)

Sorry for your loss. Our first Corgi Niblick died because of the same disease when he was 11. Lymphoma. He went through the treatment but it came right back, so we had to put him to sleep. That was 2003 and after 9 years of "no dog" we got Bogart. Had to have another Corgi of course, but slightly different because Niblick was a Pembroke.
