Scout has been home for 3 days now and wow... she is the sweetest little puppy! I cannot believe how amazingly good she has been so far!

On Friday, we made the 3 and a half hour drive to pick her up. The puppies were all so darn sweet but we fell in love with Scout right away! During the car ride home, she whined maybe 15 minutes then was totally calm and quiet for the rest of the trip on Logan's lap. She wiggled a bit but was happy to snuggle Logan for the whole trip.

When we got home we had some quiet time and a couple friends came over to meet her. What a little people-dog this girl is! She wasn't shy at all and was snuggling everyone right away.

First day home, no accidents! No upset stomach either. She went outside for her poops and pees and we praised her so much!

The first night was a bit tougher. She had no trouble going into her crate, but as soon as I closed the door she started whining. She whined and howled loudly for 4 hours... it was so hard to ignore! She finally quieted down at 2am and slept for the rest of the night right until 8am!

The second day was great too. We had more people come over and she was friendly and sweet. She met her first dog, an older Golden Retriever mix and she was quite shy around her. The other dog was a bit hesitant around her too, I assume she was afraid of hurting the puppy. Aside from that little bit of shyness, she did great. Lots of napping, lots of snuggling and a little bit of playing for the rest of the day. I also began teaching her "sit".

The second night was... AMAZING! She did not make one peep all night! We all slept until 7am when puppy woke up and whined a bit to be let out. We went outside and played and played! Later in the day we stopped by at the vet (for a different pet's check-up) and everyone instantly fell in love with her too. As soon as Logan walked in the door, one of the staff snatched her up immediately. Logan said "oh, she's not here for an appointment!" and the girl said "that's okay!!!" and ran off with her to show the other staff LOL. They all took pictures with her too. Scout was sweet and calm as ever!

We came back home and had another dog come over. Scout instantly went into play-mode, chasing around Milo. I don't think Milo had ever seen a puppy in his life, and was totally scared of her! Scout still had a blast chasing him around and trying to keep up. She "played" with him for an hour and now she's all tuckered out lying on the floor. I think she thinks Milo is her new boyfriend!

She is such a dream of a puppy! I can't believe she's had no accidents in the house. She's already learning the "Sit" command, and she already loves people. And she's only whined once! I hope I don't jinx myself, but she is just blowing me away!
