Hey guys... I've been away from this site for quite some time, and we've been busy. Back in August, I went on a road trip with Shippo to pick up Koga, who was about 5 1/2 months old at the time. Same breeder as Shippo. We met up in Michigan and spent the next day there. Here is a photo I got of Shippo there. <3
Fast forward to today, and Koga is about 11 1/2 months old and growing into a sweet, handsome dog! The breeder stopped docking, so Koga has a glorious tail, on top of also being a fluffy!
Recently, Shippo and I have been involved in Barn Hunt, and so now I'm getting Koga into it as well. Such a fun sport!
Here is a recent photo of Koga:
There is so much more on their Facebook page, if anyone is interested in keeping up with their lives. =)

I follow you on Facebook and love your photos of your beautiful corgis. Thanks!
Wow!! What beautiful dogs! Nice, photos. Cassie the Corgi does not have the wonderful tail (no doubt docked in puppyhood), but her coat is similar.
IMHO (having had a doberman) ear and tail docking should be illegal in the US as it is in the UK.
Frances...I don't know if the AKC will ever give up the breed standard they have in place not only with tails, ears but in the case of corgis...fluffy coats. So many show with different coat lengths and styles within a set breed but they won't allow a fluffy in the ring. My fluffy was the least shedding of all my corgis. My show coat corgi sheds quite a bit but the worst is my guy with a glamour coat (which is still considered show length) I've never seen so much fur come out of one dog.
We had Max when we got Katie, Max wanted to play..she wanted nothing to do with him. They did grow close as they got older, slept together but never played. We got Brady about 2 months before Max passed and we took both of ours to meet Brady (he was 4) and I was amazed that all 3 dogs bonded immediately. Max was thrilled to have another dog in the house even tho with the DM he really couldn't play and Katie was good with him. Brady and Katie have bonded strongly after Max passed, I am glad for that. She is 13 and has never been an only corgi, I think having a younger dog here when it was Max's time helped her thru her mourning.
Funny, I've just got my kids to that point as well (they are 17 & 21!).
The first few weeks, Shippo was grumpy and growly with him, but now he has accepted him. =) They've even gotten to where they will play on occasion.
Over here in Ireland, about four years ago, docking of tails became illegal & the breed standard for showing for all dogs under four (of all breeds) includes a tail.
Mine both are docked but I love the tails.
I find my fluffy does not shed nearly as much as Ms. Breed standard coat. I live my life in a haze of corgi hair!
Shippo is as handsome as ever! Koga is beautiful and that tail is glorious! I am holding out for another fluffy from our breeder and I told her I wouldn't mind one with a tail.
Delighted to hear that all is well with the handsomest Fluffy on My corgi! I had wondered where he had disappeared to. How is he coping with having a rival in fluffiness with a tail!
