While on our walk today, Teddy and I discovered a new park that the city of Sammamish is working on. It's right on Lake Sammamish, off the Lake Sammamish Trail and has great little pathways that run along side of the shore. They left most of the natural state so we were climbing up and down, weaving our way through trees and mud and boom, there would be the lake with nice logs to sit on. Teddy isn't too wild about being that close to the water but he did find some nice spots to roll in.
And maybe Teddy doesn't think the water is so bad:
I was taking pictures of the lake when he suddenly jerked me forward (his leash was attached to my belt loop). He was trying to swim and gave me a look like, "Let me off the leash, lady." I wouldn't as he doesn't have much experience swimming, certainly not in a lake as large as Lake Sammamish. But I started laughing. Silly boy.
Teddy sitting in front of our door, after our walk. It was successful walk as he is dirty and tired. (And he has a tongue to rival Gromit's).
