We went down to Cannon Beach. This was Teddy's first time out of state and first time at the beach. As soon as his paws hit the sand, he was in heaven. He had a great time and got all nice and dirty and sandy and muddy. We were joking that he was a tri because at one point his face just covered with wet sand.

I was really proud of him. He did really well on the trip down there, was well behaved in public and handled all the people cooing over him. He now knows that when he hears 'corgi!', it means him.

He really enjoyed rolling in the sand. He wasn't too crazy about the ocean. It was okay if it was far enough away and the little shallow tide pools that formed around Haystack Rock were okay. But if the waves came up, he moved up the beach. He did not like the water washing over him.

This is him on the trip back home. He was just worn out and spent most the ride, snoring away, using me as a pillow.

He was glad to get back home and sleep in his own bed.

Now, it's bath time!

first excuse no caps....I did a bad number on my hand Wednesday, fell carrying in groceries so it's one handed typing for me.  any caps are the computers doing, not mine.

if max spots water he is in it.  I was grateful he was on a leash when he decided to walk out into the Hudson river...otherwise he would have ended up in ny harbor.  great pics and he looks like he is having a great time.

Noodles is the same way as Teddy, no ocean for him. Noods love digging holes in the sand, but he will avoid the water at all cost. We will walk in the water while Noodles is far up on dry land with no chance of the water reaching him. Glad Teddy and you had a wonderful day at the beach!

So jealous. We have no beaches near enough to take the Corgis.

Teddy looks like he had a blast, and those are some beautiful photos. Real talent from the photographer. :-)

Beautiful shot of the "needles" and it's just too funny with the one with what seems he's trying to be something that washed up on the sand..   "Look I'm an oyster".    :)      Looking at these pictures makes me desperate to see the beach again.   We're only 20min. away from the warmest beaches of our province but they're probably hidden under 5' of snow right now.      At least Spring time weather is melting it away, just started.

Oh, it looks like so much fun! I'm glad he got to have the experience:)
