Well.. I know I haven't really been on here for very long, but I wanted to just say thanks to EVERYONE on here.

I haven't really talked to many people that consistantly, and most not at all. Still, thank you.

Why thanks? Because this site has helped me SO much. I mean, not just getting information and knowledge of the breed, hazards, common medical issues, etc.

But also because I've never had a group of anything that made me so happy! I can be having a crappy day, and the first thing I do? Sign on here, read blogs about your guys' corgis, look through pictures you all post, and by the time I'm done, I have a smile on my face. And I don't remember why I was having a bad day in the first place.

It really has helped me a lot in waiting, too. Well, kinda haha. Makes it harder to be falling in love with all your dogs and dealing with the growing anticipation to get to know mine when he gets here. But, at least I can still get a daily dose of corgis! <3

I can't really get out what I mean, and it's frustrating. But I still owe you all thanks, and I wanted to give it.

ALL of you:)

Kymii, you totally got it out, whether you think so or not. You are wanting a companion so badly and it's very hard to wait. This site gives lots of joy through the postings of funny photos, videos, and great advice. So you are grateful to the members, whether you've "spoken" directly to them or not. I think it's also giving you the whole picture. It's a huge commitment, and not all is cuddle, snuggle and love! Any chance that there's a vet or shelter that you can volunteer some time and get your dose of puppies and adult dogs, the good, the bad and the UGLY, haha.

@ Geri & Sidney.. I'm really glad I found you guys, too. This really has been such an inspiration to me, and honestly, if I hadn't found it, I probably wouldn't be so dead set in my Corgi loving ways, because I wouldn't know that much about them other than they're cute. Most of the research I've put into the breed was because this site let me know how amazing they are personality wise too. They really are the perfect little dogs and this is the best community to know if you have one, or are on your way to getting one!

@ Beth.. It really is a great community haha. I tried posting on Yahoo Answers looking around just to see if there was anyone on there who had or knew anything of anyone that had a fluffy black headed tri.. And GOOD LORD! You would think it was the end of the world. I had stated that I wanted a puppy for show-because I didn't think about the fact that you can't show corgis-but I only said it so a million people wouldn't tell me to adopt. (I am going to adopt at some point, but I do especially want my first corgi to start out as a puppy.) And one of the ladies on there just like got really snippy at me. I just.. Grr. Anyhow, I wound up deleting the question because so many people just trolled and freaked out on me for "Supporting backyard breeders, who breed for defects and flaws." Yaddayaddayadda... To me, a dog is a dog. Coat length does NOT mean they are worth less or more to me. I just personally like Fluffy Black Headed Tris, and I only honestly don't see anything wrong with it. The dog is a dog and if I am going to have this one for a companion only, what does it matter? I only live once, so why can't I have what I want while I can? I don't think that if a breeder breeds for just pets that being a fluffy should effect the dogs. So, why does it matter. Here, it's like.. Everyone understands. Because having a long coat doesn't make it any less of a Corgi, and that's what all of us on here love: Corgis!:)

It is a very friendly community.  A lot of dog communities can turn toxic in a hurry; when people are passionate about something opinions run high and people forget that they are all there because they love dogs.  (Same is true in the horse world).  But this is a nice group of people, and Sam and his crew do their part in making sure the atmosphere stays friendly and helpful.

It's nice to have you aboard.  :-)
