To Many Live's Lost

The numbers are in for my area....6 kill shelter's, 40,000 released pets.....12,500 of then destroyed....These number's are still good comparetivly to the nation, but in a pet friendly area like the northwest they still are staggering...Please Spay and Nueter.

I have adopted cats and dogs in the past...the sad part is it has nothing to do with the dogs but everything to do with bad owners! Rescues are also swamped due to the economy but at least those dogs have a chance. My girlfriends daughters husband just found 2 large breed stray pups that someone had dropped off in the country...what a horrible death they could have had if he hadn't found them! This happens a fair amount around here. Don't people realize or don't they care??? Many farmers around here seem to believe that it is ok to not neuter their males...it's always the female dog owners fault/problem!!!!! GRRRRRRRRR!
