Not a good idea. They tend to bond to each other more than you. It's VERY hard to properly socialize them; puppies should be socialized separately so that they learn it's ok to face the world alone. Pups raised together tend to suffer severe separation anxiety when you have to take one someplace and leave the other home. There are people who can do it, and do it well (many breeders will keep more than one from a litter) BUT I know I could not do it. Ask yourself this: do I have the space to raise the puppies separately from each other, only bringing them together for short periods to play? Do I have the time to socialize each puppy outside the home separately from the other puppy for several hours each week? Do I have time to spend each day training each pup separately from the other pup? If you can answer yes to all three questions, it can be done. Most of us aren't up to the task. I know of quite a few breeders who send pups out to other homes for a few months if they do keep multiples from a litter.
I believe that most people would caution against it. I would never sell 2 pups to anyone...but I do say that in a year when the pup is trained then get a second one...I guess I have done that and love pups so you have much more fun when you have that 1st one trained and can get the 2nd one.
