Watson continues to be the most happy go lucky dog I have ever seen. He is very fun and loves everybody. Izzy still plays very little with him but we try to make up for it. He loves fetch and find it.
I recovered very quickly from my surgery and have restarted chemo. After 9 weeks the hope is that I will be in remission. So I'm looking forward to a great summer. Probably still won't have hair by then but I'll have to wear a lot of hats. It will be great to resume Watson's training as he appears to learn very quickly and I especially want to resume long walks again.

I think Watson is so handsome:)
So glad that you have recovered so quickly from surgery! Many prayers for remission and a wonderful summer of training Watson and long walks.
Incredible how our critters take care of us and comfort us. In the days leading up to my carotid surgery a couple of weeks ago Max, Katie and Gemma (the cat) were always by my side, they had to sense my nervousness. I was only in the hospital one night but after I came home I was never left alone. Max was always under my feet, Gemma and Katie were both in my lap. Even Oliver the cat came and spent a lot of time of time in my lap and he is not one for that.
Thanks everyone. I actually have a nice wig but it will be too warm for summer. I use a lot of scarfs and stocking hats now. As the temperatures rise ( hoping they will ) I will have to switch to lighter weight items. Having the energy to train Watson will be fun!
Blessings, Bev. Praying that remission is on the way!
That is great news Bev. I assume that you will be on the same drugs that have already been successful, thank heavens. You and Watson will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. Randy is a great care taker and nurse with my arthritis and pain issues. He sometimes checks my nose when I'm sleeping and I wake up to find a cold wet nose on my nose. Other times if I am having pain problems, I wake up to find him wrapped around my head and shoulders. I am not sure what he is doing unless he is consoling me or trying to heal me. Dogs are wonderful no matter what they do.
I love that idea Anna....they could have matching bandanas:)
I also am so glad that Watson is being so "helpful". Animals sure do help us get through the not-so-fun things in life. Hoping that soon you will feel like new and be able to enjoy the spring and summer!
That sounds great, Bev! It's nice you'll be going into the good season when you'll be able to do those things. As for the hair, why not have fun with it and pick some really outrageous hats or wigs? Then you can post some glamor photos here and find bandanas for Watson to complement your "outfits".....
