UPDATE -- TRI -COLORED FLUFFY IN KILL SHELTER

SUCCESS! I finally found a licensed Kansas rescuer that would allow me to sign out the Tri-Colored Fluffy under her license number as a foster on her organization's behalf! I will be picking the dog up afterall, just not as soon as I had hoped, because of the red tape we've had to go through all day to find someone who was willing to work with me sight unseen.

After about 30 days of fostering and assessment in my home for quirks, habits, traits, etc., he will be available for adoption and listed on the internet through www.forpaws.org.

I want to personally thank Jane, Derek, msajones, Boo Boucheit, Aj, Cindi, Chris, Alyssa, Murphy, The John Family, and Jeanette for all the kind words and well wishes.

Special thank you to Sam Tsang and Wendt Worth Corgis for jumping on this urgent situation so quickly and cross-posting, forwarding emails, twittering, and your genuine concern in getting this little guy out of harm's way.

It's been an exasperating day, but with everyone's prayers, thoughts, concern, and proactive help, our goal has finally been achieved! The networking on here has been a wonderful experience.

Sam, I personally want to thank you in your tireless efforts and continued support. It is not my intent, nor has it been to ever use this site as a rescue/adoption site. I was only given 24 hours, and hit a brick wall in the 20th hour because of the bureaucracy in Kansas.

The only thing that could be better is if someone sees all the internet postings and goes to adopt that little guy first thing in the morning before I get there! If not, I will update with pics when I get him home and let everyone know when he's available for adoption through forpaws.org.

Thank you everyone!

I'm so happy that you're able to adopt him!!! I was so worried when I first read the post, I looked around to see if anyone out here (we're way out in PA) wanted to adopt this adorable guy. Great job and great job!!!!! He's so lucky

I would have loved to go and pick him right up if I lived in Kansas! Thanks for sharing the good news with us. If it's possible, it would be great if you updated me (and perhaps others) on his progress when he is brought into your home.
