Well miracles do happen! I thought I knew dogs but Izzy has surprised me. She plays regularly with Watson. It took a while for him to wear her down but he did and it is so cute to have two playing dogs again. Watson is a great puppy, very goofy and cuddly. He does well in puppy class but is learning (slowly) not to be such a big mouth.

What a great picture! Love the cardi tails! Seriously thinking about it for next puppy. Glad to see update pics!
What a great picture! So glad that he was won her over (or worn her down) and that a partnership has begun. I have no experience with Cardis...in fact I have never even seen one if real life. Both my Pems have their insane side and their serious side. Katie is still not sure how to play and she is 10. Max on the other hand loves to play fetch. They don't play with each other at all. Max tried when we brought Katie home (both adults) and she put him in his place. They've been together for 6 years now and only recently has Max been brave enough to go get his toy if Katie is standing near it.
Jane, I have always heard that the Cardis were more serious than the Pems. Watson's mom is a more serious one that excels in herding but his dad is a more goofy one. The breeder said he took more after his dad. My other Pems were much more playful. Izzy is all Diva, doesn't like to get her feet wet, wouldn't fetch under any circumstances and loves laying on the couch pillows like a Princess. I guess there is just a lot of variation in the breeds. Meanwhile Watson's goofy, I love everybody personality finally won her over! I think all herding dogs are a little serious at heart.
"Serious Pem"...are you kidding me?
Oh my...he's starting to win her heart...what a wonderful picture! Izzy looks like she is keeping watch over her new brother:) I think Cardis are more goofy or carefree then the more serious Pem.
It is so fun to watch pups play and interact!! :) cute pic!
