What do people say about your corgi?

Of course our corgis get sooo much attention. But some of it is unwanted. 2 women were at PetSmart together, one of them said, not surprisingly, "OOOhh soooo cuuutteee those ears awww!"
And her friend asks, "Is that a corgi?"
"Yep!" I replied proudly, as Eddy is showcasing his ears and wiggling his butt and being cute.
And she shot back, "Huh. Never seen one as a puppy. It's cute now but I think they're fugly when they're older." GASP.

Has anyone said anything other than "AWWW CUTE" about your corgi?

Wow, I don't think I've ever heard that either. Even people I know who don't like "sawed-off, squatty dogs" think they are pretty cute. My husband said the quote and now he claims Twinkie as his own.

I have not came upon any negative comments about my Corgis. My neighbors all say the boys are cute, and Leo does not look like a puppy anymore and folks still say he is cute. Beauty is always in the eyes of the beholder...but I would be offended by anyone referring to my Corgi as fugly.

NEVER! I work at qa doggy daycare and people are constantly " OHH!! Are those Corgi's! I LOVE them! they're SOOO cute!!" maybe she was fugly and jelous cause their SO cute!
