Ziggy is home:D
Unfortunately, there wasn't video time, and Ziggy didn't get all crazy happy jump aroundy, but I am happy:) You can tell he did miss me, and I missed him more than crazy, so being back together is awesome:D
We got to the airport only ten minutes early, and wound up waiting an hour.. I was starting to have a heart attack telling myself how the plane must really have spontaneously combusted!
Of course, when they actually wheeled Ziggy in, that just made it ten million and a half times better! HE'S ALIVE!:P I don't think he realized it was me at first, poor guy. He looked drowsy and tired, and stared at me like, "No, I'm not awake yet." Then I spoke, and he goes from --___--*yawn* to O_O"MOOMMMM!" and he started digging at the kennel.
He got to get out and we said hi, but he kept running off (and returning as soon as he was called back) in the airport, so he had to go back into the kennel until I could sign the paperwork. I would up having to wait an extra while, because apparently, my name is Beverly Nevens. (Kinda sounds similar to my name, but the fact that the guy I had made the booking with had spelled my name back to me, correctly, was a little irking.) Anyhow, the entire time I was waiting to fill out the paperwork, Ziggy sat in his crate, staring out through the bars at me. I kinda felt stalked haha. (Cutest. Stalker. Ever.)
Boy, oh boy! He had to peeeeeeee! We stood out there with his leg lifted on a bush for what felt like an eternity! I didn't have a poop bag, so we had to high tail it outta the airport before he got the chance for that, poor guy.. He went when we got home though.
He spent the whole two hour ride touching me, mostly with his head pressed into my leg, sometimes he would pull his front half into my lap, and occasionally he would lay his whole body out next to me, and I got to pet him the whole way back:) We stopped off for some Burger King, and I saved him a bite of a Whopper, and a french fry. I think he was a bit more awake at this point, though, because when we got back to the car, I got into the seat and he started jumping back and forth from the door, to me, to the door, back to me, and was wiggling around. Got lotsa hugs!
When we got here, I was pretty nervous. Hubby's parents have a male unneutered Schipperke, Shadow, and though I wasn't really worried about Shadow starting any fights with Ziggy, Shadow is really up in your face, and hyper, and Ziggy isn't. It has gone pretty well so far, though Shadow has gotten a few warning growls. (Well, I hope they were just for warning. I would just say "Ziggy." and he'd stop.) but other than that, nothing:D (Still gonna have to watch them, I dunno if Shadow is gonna really get the whole back off thing.)
Right now, Ziggy just finished up his meal, and is waiting to be put back up on the bed:D All is well in the world again haha:)
