We have been having some great weather here so haven't had a chance to write lately. We visited the Lake last weekend and had a great time. No boat rides yet tho..just getting things how we like them to be again and have to have a dock in the water to jump onto the boats. We are going to have a new dock to walk and run on this Summer and I can hardly wait!! We had some Thunderstorms last nite and I didn't get a good sleep because they make me nervous so I am going to have a long nap this afternoon. I hope you are having a good Spring! Love, Gem

We are having great Spring weather here today again, almost 60 degrees and we are loving it! I had to see my Doctor on Friday just for a check up and some nasty shots, but my mom says they keep me healthy so I guess it is alright. I got a lot of extra attention on Friday just for having to go there. My doctor said that I was really healthy and asked my mom a lot of questions. I did get the shakes a little bit when he was examining me, but he really is a nice doctor and all the ladies love me there!
Brothers can be so irritating....mine is barking at me right now as I am laying on the deck in the sunshine trying to get me to chase him around our yard. He also started to swipe food off the girls' plates in the last week or so if they set it down within his reach. Have a wonderful week....Love, Gem

It is almost 60 degrees here today and my mom spent the morning cleaning up the yard. She gave us a few funny looks and shook her head a couple times at us. I'm not sure what that was all about, but I think it had something to do with a pooper scooper and a pail.
We have very little snow left after a very quick warm up all last week and rain. Now the sun is shining and we are soaking it up! Edward is dropping his fur like crazy and my dad furminated him yesterday and got almost a whole plastic shopping full of fur. It was flying everywhere!! My Great Auntie and Uncle were also here visiting from Texas for the afternoon, so we had a nice rest while they chatted with my Mom. They hadn't seen Edward since he was a pup(5lbs) and he now weighs a whopping 27-28lbs so they were pretty amazed by that.
I guess that boys must just love to chase those balls...I prefer to sit and watch but every so often I do step in and try to stop it by running away with it. It is a lot of commotion to handle but I can understand the excitement of it.
Our weather has been almost 40 and we all have Spring Fever, so we have been outside as much as possible. Have a great weekend! Gemima

He chases a ball!!! Can you believe that? I mean, he doesn't just chase it once, he chases it back and forth in our hallway for 1/2 the afternoon if someone was throwing it for him.
