Aww, Steve. I could cry w/ you. We bought litter mates when we only expected to buy one female Corgi. Dylan and Emily were inseparable. Their breeder was wise not to sell them separately. An irresponsible dog groomer was responsible for Emily dying at age 8. She was still a puppy! TG Dylan didn't die. He lived until 14, & I suspect Emily would have, too.
My heart goes out to you. We got Lucy soon after Dylan died. Your Corgis remind me of mine over the years. Ricky, my rescue, is my first tri-colored Pem.
Happy new year! Life goes on. . . & it sure helps to have a new Corgi or 2 around to get through the hard times and losses.
It sounds like Dino did well for Christmas. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. It was so hard not to laugh out loud when he was trying to unwrap his present.
Merry Christmas! I've posted two pictures of Noodles from this morning and then a video clip of him opening up his jumbone. I hope you and Dino are doing well. This afternoon we will be heading over to my parents house and of course Noodles gets to come. He loves seeing his Grammie and Gramps.
Hi Steve! Thanks for the compliment. The lab in a couple of the photos does not belong to me, he was a house guest, but the rest are mine. I see in one of your photos Coco wearing her princess hat--very nice. She looks like she was a sweet girl.
did you post the photo, I was looking for it, but not sure where to look. You said behavior but I thought photos were uploaded to your page. I want to see the photo. :)
Hi Steve, Yes Gromit uses Windows but would prefer a Mac. I consider that his only fault as a person. He tells me he wants an iPaw for Christmas, apparently it's an iPad optimized for dogs.
Glad you like the Gromit pictures, Steve. And I absolutely understand about you still missing Coco. I lost my pals Watson & Tinsel in 2009 and it still makes me sad if I think too long on their passing. Their collars are mementos now hanging above my workbench, a reminder of the two who "supervised" my work so well around the house. Gromit didn't take their place in my heart but has made his own place there now.
Oh thank you! I try to be entertaining and informative... it's good to know I'm at least slightly successful! haha. I haven't decided what to name my next dog yet. I'm not sure if it will be a corgi or a swedish vallhund, either! I do know that I want to name it after a food or an animal, though. I've thought a lot about Pancake or Pickle as a name...
That's not a dumb question on how long it takes for pups! Usually 62-63 days and mine have always been right in that time frame. Your dogs are great looking!
