Geri...Belmont is south of San Francisco by about 30 minutes.  Half Moon Bay is just 25 minutes over the hill from Belmont.  We try and take the dogs out there 2-3 times a week.  My oldest RR, Joe is from Temecula.  His breeder is Deb Adams (Orangewood).  We got Teegan in Marin Co from Tom K.

Thanks!  Schooner's dad was "Yankee Clipper," so the whole litter had a nautical theme.  Since we got Schooner when he was one year old, we decided to keep his name.  Besides, it suits him well!

Thanks for the warm welcome :) Qwilleran was the name of a Welsh detective in a mystery novel that my aunt found for me. I thought it was unique. His name for short is Qwill or Qwilly heh

Moerlenbach is a very small town in the countryside called Odenwald about 50km south of Frankfurt. Do you know Heidelberg or Mannheim? Two towns most American know of , they're 20-25km from where I live.

Our boy, Tucker (aka the Tuckermer Battlejitney) was a rescue. The rescue group gave him the name Tucker. We didn't feel like changing it, but have come up with a few nicknames and such--including the Battlejitney one. It's inspired by the Herkimer Battlejitney from the silly movie Mystery Men. :)
