Her name is Bella. Still trying to get used to the site, sorry if it takes me awhile to answer.

Thank you for "friending" me. I am NOT a techie person, don't do any Facebook or anything like that, and had no idea to check anything other than the main page when I logged on to here. I wondered what all the other stuff was about. I will probably still get "lost" as I nose around in here! What is this "gift" business about?
Sophie is a little miffed now that summer is over and we are back in the swing of work. So am I for that matter! Not as many luncheon outings. She is very well behaved (by nature, not by training) and we took her with us to restaurants that had sidewalk dining throughout the summer. We all loved it and she frequently got pets and treats from the servers and other patrons.
Well, someone is giving me the "I need to go out now eyes" so I'd better oblige!
Chris
I know that surgery set you back, how well I know. You do not have to send anything. Once I have your address Sid's vest will go out tomorrow. No need to thank us. That is what Corgi people do. It is so important that Sidney swims. That is what matters to us. That's all.
Later,
Marianne
We have no need for Corgi's life preserver vest now. It is still new since she only used it for 6 weeks. If you like I will send it to you. Since Sidney hates the water at least he will look cool in his designer vest.
If you go to my site corgimama.com you can email me your name and address and I will mail it to you. The least we can do for Sid. That is if you trust me with your address. You would have it before the sutures come out.
You won't have to pay for nothing. How is that?
Our fair in Georgia only allows service animals on grounds. We love to take Duchess anywhere that allows puppies. We found a great campground in NC that is for adults and fur kids only. They have 7 types of dog parks, fun activites, meet and greets and themed weekends for the fur kids as well as adult socializing. We are actually going again in Oct. for their Octoberfest, german fest for adults, sausage bobbing in the park for the pups!
Thank you! I'm looking forward to being a part of the community and learning more about these comical and sweet dogs.

Thanks, he got up today and just started walking around. The hardwood floor don't help much. The Vet has put him on different meds which I started today. He is a moody little guy. Just like me. Do you guys know how long Corgi's live. I have read 11.7 years. I read that when I got him and did not like that time frame so have ignored it and I never let Alex know either so here we are at 16 and I think he is doing rather well. His weight is a concern 47 lbs. He does not look it at all but that is what the scales say. So your dog is having surgery today. I will keep him in my prayers.
I only have one but she has enough love in her for 5. She is a sable and the love of my life. I breed her in the spring and had 8 beautiful puppies. Two can be seen on Tammy Shreves site. They are Xena and Gwen.

Thanks Geri and Sidney ... from TOOTS and Dad ... you probably know Mom ... her name is Sandi and she is here more than I am ... but TOOTS is here and Daily Corgi a lot.
Well, today is the day. My prayers and my heart are with you. I know what you are experiencing at this moment. Keep up the good work and before you know it Sidney will be OK again. We did not have to have a muzzle for Corgi. She took her PT well, although she did not like it. After a few days it is important that you walk him. A little bit throughout the day increasing the walks on a daily basis. After one week Corgi stayed outside in the yard so she could move at her leisure always keeping an eye on her. Movement is of most importance. You will get the hang of it. Let us know right away how the surgery went. He will be uncomfortable for the first two days. Good luck. Can't wait to hear from you,
Marianne
