I'm excited to join this community. I've been observing for weeks, and since we've decided to take the plunge with a new family member, I decided to join.
Plan to put more pictures of Payton (9/06 - 9/09) and Caden, our new addition, up on my page soon!
Hi guys, don't know how I missed reading about Soffie the first time, but I went back and read over what you had posted. I am so sorry to hear that she sustained this injury(that is how Ed hurt himself too, racing in the yard) and am glad she can at least go out for short walks now!!!! Are Corgis prone to this type of injury more than other breeds even if not overweight???? Anyway, know first hand how hard it is to keep them restricted and I hope the healing will happen very quickly so she can get back to all her usual activities!!! Edward got his cast off on Thursday and seems to be doing pretty well, he still seems a little sore and stiff, but no more limping or whining. I am being cautious about letting him just tear around though right now, nervous mom I guess!!! Have a great weekend!!
Teddy is doing much better, thanks. The limping is almost gone, as well as his legs slipping out from under him. The only disconcerting thing is that if I allow him to run around outside, his symptoms temporarily come back and I have to avoid activity with him for a couple of days, then he goes back to normal (whatever "normal" is, I can't tell anymore).
Thank you. We pick him up today. Not really the situation I wanted because we are moving in 4 days so it would have been better to get him as the last thing we do on moving day but such as life.
I just don't know how my room mates cats are going to react to him they are REALLY territorial. And one is the breed of Maine Coon so he is 15 pounds of muscle and teeth. It will only be for mabe 2 days but still.
Hi guys, bet you're counting down the days to your vacation. I think you said August? We watched Soffie's video too and it is darn cute! Have a great summer Edward and Gem.
Hey guys! Thank you, thank you, thank you for the video. It's just wonderful. We enjoyed watching it a few times last night. My granddaughter is in there too.
