Suspense builds to a dramatic denouement at the ending!
Note the thin wisps of mist -- this is moist marine air beginning to rise over the mountains, condensing right at the Cascade crest -- they will grow and grow into cumulus clouds that will obscure most of the sky by afternoon. The thin low clouds just under the sun (at 0:37) are at Cady Pass, the ancient route across these mountains. You can't see it in this light, but at 0:43 in the white bowl below us, 52-5400', is a very recent large slab avalanche, very unusual for June.
