Cardigan, or pembroke with a tail?

Back in December we adopted Taffy, who was listed as a cardigan welsh corgi by the shelter, but they've misidentified dogs before. As she has settled in and her true personality became more evident, I'm wondering if she's a pembroke that kept her tail.

Taffy is 22 lb, 2.5 year old black-headed tricolor female. She is 12.5 inches to the top of her shoulder, and 20.5 inches from the front of her chest to the back of her hind leg. Her ears fold over at the tip (possibly due to poor nutrition, we don't know her story since she was picked up as a stray), and her tail is held in an arc.

She is aloof around strangers and cautious near strange dogs, but a complete goof around the family- she will get in the belly rub position if you get within two feet of her while she's laying down, and warms up to people quickly. Here are some pictures of her:

I would guess Pem mix as well. I wouldn't bother with the test as I don't think they're very accurate at all. I know of a couple people who sent in tests for their pure bred dog and got all kinds of mixes back lol.

The tests aren't very accurate. I have a friend who works for a company who does genetic testing and in dogs it is still being developed and not very precise. I can almost guarantee owners of purebred dogs can send in hair/blood samples and get back a whole list of breeds that make up their purebred dog. Not worth it just yet because the technology is still being developed in dogs. If you do end up doing it, in order to get a remotely accurate DNA test you would have to have it run by several different companies and compare. Many results will differ depending on the size of the genetic database being used. Like others have said, save your money, your guess at what mix she is based on personality is probably just as accurate at this point as many DNA tests.

Taffy's legs are too long! Definitely a corgi mix.
But who cares, she has a beautiful marking and adorable white tipped tail!!!! I wish my tailed pembroke had a white tipped tail so would look like a fox hahaha!
It's normal for most strays or abandoned dogs to be cautious.. Never know what they had gone through before. Give her some time.. At least she inherited some corgi traits, don't waste ur money on DNA tests :p
