Back in December we adopted Taffy, who was listed as a cardigan welsh corgi by the shelter, but they've misidentified dogs before. As she has settled in and her true personality became more evident, I'm wondering if she's a pembroke that kept her tail.
Taffy is 22 lb, 2.5 year old black-headed tricolor female. She is 12.5 inches to the top of her shoulder, and 20.5 inches from the front of her chest to the back of her hind leg. Her ears fold over at the tip (possibly due to poor nutrition, we don't know her story since she was picked up as a stray), and her tail is held in an arc.
She is aloof around strangers and cautious near strange dogs, but a complete goof around the family- she will get in the belly rub position if you get within two feet of her while she's laying down, and warms up to people quickly. Here are some pictures of her:
