Mocha is the Jedi master in the house, his force is strong and not a whole lot of things in life can rattle him. His only nemesis is the Darth "blender".
Brooms, hammers, mops, vaccums, Daddy chasing after him and sending him into the zoomies (or "frapping"), people walking by, people sitting, people converting oxygen into carbon dioxide, and trash bags. And pumpkins. But in a good way; he LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVES pumpkins!
Our corgi Brody hates any "whirly" flying type thing. This past spring I had put little whirly gigs in the garden to keep out the birds, when I came home he had killed every last one of them. Occasionally we have hot air baloons fly over and he just goes nuts!

Griff REALLY hates the cordless drill, which is unfortunate because we're completely renovating a multi-unit house. He won't go crazy, but he'll run away and hide in the bathroom behind the door, which I think is his safe little "cave". He also hates it when the smoke detector either a.) goes off, or b.) beeps for a new battery. He will hide for HOURS after either of those noises. Beyond those two things, he hates loud noises in general.
My dogs go crazy for any type of ball. It is a nightmare if you break out a basketball or soccer ball especially. If I start the vacuum or something like that, they just go and get in their crate and wait for it to be over.
I have to lock my dogs in the crate or put them outside in order to vacuum. They attack it with almost scary ferocity. I once did a scientific experiment to see if they'd be more interested in the vacuum than in their dinner. The food, of course, won out... but there was a moment of indecision(!).
squeaky toys. actually, anything that squeaks. he will just hold the toy in his mouth and continually chomp down. "squeak. squeak. squeak." so funny and cute, but i have to take it away sometimes because i can't hear the tv. his favorite thing is a little orange catapillar squeaky toy.
Kiyo really doesn't like the hand vaccum or the big one, but I'd say the nail clippers. she really heads for the hills when she sees those.. Also she has her little protector-bark when someone knocks at the front door or walks by... or sometimes if the wind blows hard on the porch door she give out a little "who's there" woof.
Charlotte goes nuts at certain words. "cookies", rusty, and machete, make her totally nuts. She barks like crazy. Also, we live on a pond, and the ducks and geese make them crazy. They howl like houndogs if they are in the backyard, until they can chase them back in to the water.
