This study doesn't mention corgis specifically, but I think that's really cool how this study is helping vets track trends in breeds, and helping doctors understand how diseases develop genetically.

Thanks for posting that!  It is really interesting and it's nice to see some hard science rather than "I think" or "I feel" things to help promote responsible breeding.  I'm not sure if there's a way to health test parents against, say, cancer, before breeding, but certainly heart problems could be and should be done more.
Definitely. I also think that the information on how genetic diseases develop in a breed could help breeders avoid creating problems in the future, too.
