My corgi Daisy is almost 11 months old and she weighs 25 lbs. Is she heavy for a corgi female and right now I have her on Earthborn Holistic puppy vantage and I was wondering if there is a better food out there for her because I want her to live a happy healthy life.

So any suggestions would be greatly appreciated because I will soon be transitioning her to adult food.

Hi Errin, Daisy's weight sounds fine, check the FAQ.

The standard calls for females to be around 25 lbs so I wouldn't say she's heavy. She will probably gain a few more pounds as she fills out. I'm not familiar with that brand of food but just from their website it looks fine to me.

I think that you could probably take her off of the puppy food now. It usually has more calories than adult food. The vets that I've seen have told me the puppy doesn't need to be on puppy food the whole first year, and to start introducing adult food.
I would see what your vet says. When I took Quin in for her shots and check up at one year my vet said she was perfect, she was 21 lbs, maybe she is small but the vets usually will know for their size if they are a good weight.
