I have a tri colored Pembroke boy that is desperately seeking his forever home. We acquired him from a couple who decided they did not have the time or patience for him. We would keep him if we could, but we lease a townhome and are only allowed 2 dogs, which we have. Unfortunately since these people didn't take any time for this little boy he is 8 months old and not really potty trained. He needs someone patient who can work with him. He is very good about not jumping up or getting up on furniture. He's great with my 2 year old and her 4 year old cousin. He is also great with cats and our two dogs. I really want this little guy to find some loving people to give him the home he deserves, right now he is outside a majority of the time and all he wants is to be with people. We are located in the Mid-Michigan area. I do have pictures also, if interested. Thanks and look forward to hearing from anyone who can help him out!!!

Ok, I contacted the rescues, but I need proof of his rabies and I need to get a health cert. so he can cross state lines legally so the rescue group wont get a fine... right now we just cant afford that, so Im back to square one. Not sure what to do?
Did you explain your situation to them?
I would pay for it...let me know how much it costs, and the vet number.  If it's OK with them I can call the payment in to them over the phone, or mail them a check.  Just let me know!
I just sent a message to the gal who found Harley for me asking if she knew of anyone up North wanting a Corgi.  She has one and is a Vet tech at a local Vet office.  We are from Northern Michigan so Saginaw isn't too far.  I will let you know what she says when I hear.
That sounds like a job for CorgiAid!  Sounds like you are very busy but they help people with medical costs all the time.  This one would be inexpensive compared to most.
Heard back from my Vet tech friend.  She says she knows of an older couple who wanted an older Corgi or not a "puppy" puppy, but she will pass the information on to them.  I suspect she will contact them tomorrow.  And she's very good about follow thru as she is the reason I have Harley.  Will post when I hear:)

I believe but don't know for certain that Corgi aid helps but you have to adopt a rescue and then they will help. It also takes time to go through all the red tape. Since you are looking for a home I believe they may not help.

Thanks Jennifer for your generous offer and I hope that Ashley takes you up on this as this would be the fastest route for the little guy!!!!! You truelly are a wonderful person:)

You guys are all so awesome!  It must be a Corgi-people trait!  Amy, that would be good if they did want them since you guys are pretty close, just please pass on to them that he did not get properly potty trained.  Im pretty sure the previous owners just through him in a back room and forgot about him.  He will go outside, but does not let you know when.  Please elt me know when you here anything.  And Jennifer, that is such a generous offer, I was planning on calling my personal vet and asking what the total cost would be for everything needed. If this couple that Amy knows does not work, I will let you know what my vet says.  Seriously, you guys are all awesome, I cant think of another word for it. Also thank you Cindi and Jane for the info on CorgiAid, I will check that out also.
Hey Ashley, I live in Saginaw and foster corgi's. I just found a home for my last male corgi within 3 days! If you need someone to take him and get him adopted I will be willing to work with him until we find him a home. I will friend you and send you my phone number.
