We've had her since late March, about 4 months of her life. I dunno if she really is stressed so much. She used to hiccup a lot when she was stressed. But thanks, it may be the cause!
Agree with Jane, can also be confused about how to respond in a given situation. More exposure, gentle handling and increased self confidence should all work to get rid of this as the pup grows.
If there is a problem, you'll notice that she won't eat or drink water and the stool will sometimes be loose or runny. Corgis can be emotional dogs and get stressed out easily. If Emma gets really upset, she'll have loose stool for one or two BMs. But if there's anything BAD wrong, you'll be able to notice.
Cesar says that dogs yawn a lot when they are confused or frustrated. Emmy yawns in the morning while she is just waking up and stretching, and after naps. When she yawns any other time, I try to figure out what she wants from me. Sometimes if we are training and she doesn't understand me, she yawns, so I will help her figure that out and give her a treat.
