Sorry this isn't about Corgis... But everyone here is so helpful and it could help a Corgi owner out later.
My friend contacted me recently because his Golden Retriever, a lovely little girl, has contracted pyometra. They are a rather poor family, though, and he wants to know places where he can get help with vet care. I've seen people post numerous resources for this sort of thing, but I can't seem to find the comments or posts, and a Google search did not produce very comprehensive results.
Off the top of my head, I know the SPCAs in my area have low cost vet clinics. Are there other national (USA) organizations with low-cost vet clinics, or organizations that will help with a Golden Retriever's surgery cost, similar to CorgiAid?

Be proactive.
Explore ways to bring in some extra cash.
If you don't qualify for a credit card or bank loan that can help you through your pet's crisis, you may still be able to get an account with Care Credit, a credit card that's specifically for health expenses, including your pet's. Care Credit offers no interest or low interest plans with fixed monthly payments that allow you to budget your money. It's accepted by many veterinarians (and people doctors). Groups like IMOM also allow you to apply for financial aid if you can't afford veterinary care for your pet.
Or, raise your own funds! GiveForward enables you to create a personal fundraising page to raise funds for pet medical care. They charge a small percentage of funds raised.
