Had a really great experience with the Wyoming Dachshund and Corgi Rescue this weekend. From the very beginning they listened to my needs and set me up with a fantastic match, and they were just fantastic this weekend during their annual dog-races fundraising event. I had to drive a ways from Colorado to Wyoming, but it was totally worth it! Their adoption fees are very reasonable (I paid $200 for Roxie, which is less than a lot of the local shelters in Denver.)
Here is their petfinder list with current adoptable dogs:

Thanks! She's doing really well so far! I really like adopting because then you don't have to go through house-training a dog. :D
I saw someone using a chuck-it at the dog park recently... I'm seriously considering it at this point. It looks pretty useful!
I strongly suggest the chuck-it and get the orange and blue balls...the are very strong and Livvy has not ever destroyed one:) Livvy even carries it around the house. You can check out the pics of her carrying around in her mouth! Livvy prefers the smaller ones.
Thank you so much for giving Roxie a loving forever home!
