Pokeweed poisoning

If you have these plants in your yard......get rid of them. Toby is recovering from accidental exposre to this plant. We had pulled some weeds and when it rained , the poison leached into some water in a container and Toby drank it. He quit eating and developed diarhhea. We had him at the vet and did some online research on the plant and found out the exposure fit his symptoms. He is going to be ok, but its been a tense few days.

Thank you for the notice :) We do allot of outdoor activities with Roxi and its nice to know what plants she shouldn't be munching on. (for some reason she loves the greens)

I'll do more research to see where it grows and what seasons but its always a good heads up to hear about these things :)
