Absolutely adorable and sweet male corgi showed up on our farm a week ago with no collar and no ID. Haven't been able to locate his owner. We have a female corgi and are completely willing and able to keep him, but if someone is looking for him, I want to get him back to his rightful home.

Did you take him to a local vet to get him scanned for a microchip?

Not yet. I have an appointment with my vet this week to do that. I have called all the vets in the area to leave word though and have been watching all the bulletin boards in our little town for fliers.

Thanks for taking him in and keeping him safe!

You are such a sweetheart to look after him this way.  Maybe he has been watching you and decided that your place looks like corgi heaven.  Good luck to you both!

He's absolutely adorable, so if I do find his rightful owner, it will be a tearful goodbye. But I can't imagine someone isn't missing him badly! He wants to run after wild game, so I'm wondering if he came from a home that had hounds or neighboring hounds and he ran off with them and got lost. We are surrounded by a lot of wooded acreage and we hear coonhounds running through at night a lot. He could have come from quite a distance because his nails are worn down and he had no hair left between the pads of his feet. He was pretty hungry when he showed up too!

Who knows...you may "luck out" the humane society Corgi that Deb G. got  was held by the society 10 days and then adopted. The people called the humane society well after a month so they evidently didn't really care. Are you going to post a pic for us to see? hint, hint:) Glad he's safe with you! Thanks!

I did post a pic on my home page. Will try to post one here. Not sure how that works!

Oh Wow! It worked! :D

At this point, I'm already so darn attached to him, I almost hope I can't find his owner, but on the other hand, if it were my Kadi that were lost, I'd hope someone did their best to get her back to me!

He's very handsome! Maybe we can have a playdate!

That would be fun! I have an appointment with our vet on Wed to get him checked out. If he stays here, we'll have to get him neutered. Of course, I don't want to jump the gun on that in case his previous owner shows up. I uploaded more pics of him and also of Kadi to my page. They make quite a team! LOL

There was somebody who just posted last week about wanting a tailed pemmie, but maybe he was in California? Can't remember.....does anybody else?

What a handsome guy:)

He really is. And it's kind of neat having a tail wag at you! Besides our corgi, Kadi, we have a Boston Terrier, so we're pretty used to just having butts wag at us! LOL
