Harness Eater

Holly loves to eat her Harness. It is her favorite. She has lots of toys, crate trained etc.I have returned the Lupine harness now three times. It is getting embarrassing. Does anyone have any ideas?

Sounds like she is teething. Try having her chew an ice cube before you put the leash on her. My dogs love the "cold bone".

i was told never to let dogs chew on ice because it can split their teeth! but im not sure. when is she getting to her harness? maybe try putting it somewhere she can't reach as soon as she has finished. also try pig ears...my dog LOVED them when teething and they lasted forever, it seriously took her day and days and she spend soo much time chewing them.

My dogs can eat pig ears within an hours time. :-} I'm shocked that they can last days for others... I wish I could find something that looks/tastes/feels like plastic milk carton lids. My younger dog will chew for hours on one if he can find it, and then give it back to me in the middle of the night.
