I know I'm a day late sending in my dish; I thought I was subscribed to the thread about the picnic, but apparently I was not. I will be coming with my boyfriend Chris, our friend Natalie, and our Corgi Stuart. We'll be bringing a couscous salad (vegetarian). Natalie is in her first year of residency so probably won't be able to make anything so should I make an additional dish since we'll be bringing an extra person?

Chris and I will be there from Central Wisconsin with our corgi, Finn!!!  I'll bring plates, napkins, forks/spoons/knives, and cups. We'll also bring some lemonade.

am leaving one of mine home also. there's not enough room for 2 people and 2 corgis in the front of the truck. will be leaving the old boy home. my niece will be here with mom and jack is easier to deal with so he stays home.

I just checked the weather for Saturday and it is Partly Cloudy and 75! Sounds like it is going to be an awesome day for Corgis!!

I have had a few people ask me about how much food to make and bring. Last year we had around 30 people and it seemed like there was lots of food being taken home. Considering everyone that is coming is bringing a dish to pass, I would say a safe amount to make is at least enough for 2-3 dozen. Since we grow each year, so I am planning on around 40 people (watch me be WAY off LOL).

Thanks so much for that!!

This is the information that I received - I wanted the address for my GPS:

It is W5098 K-9 Drive, Johnson Creek Wi 53038

If you are coming off I-94 you go south, past Kohl’s and Menards, you will go past stop lights and then the park is on the east side of 26 about an eighth to a quarter mile south. There are brown and white signs marking the Jefferson County Dog Park Jane Stanger Jefferson County Parks Department 320 S Main St  Rm 204 Jefferson Wi 53540 920-674-7260

I have had a lot of people asking about what dish they should bring to pass, so Vicky Hyde has volunteered to make a list. If you know what you are bringing, please e-mail her at corgi97@aol.com with the subject line CORGI PICNIC by September 3, and she will compose a list of everything that is being brought (that we will know of).

Also, if you are unable to attend, but would still like to make a donation to the Rescues or to the Raffle, you can also talk to Vicky (same subject line).

Thanks everyone! I am so excited about the picnic this year! It sounds like there is going to be a lot of Corgis in attendance!
