Hello Everyone
My name is Stella and I am new here :) I have a 5 month old Pembroke named Penny. She is my first Corgi and I'm amazed by her. She is so smart and well behaved. She was the runt of her litter, but never had any health problems, in fact, she never let her litter-mates push her around. It just so happens that my fiance's best friend and his girlfriend got Penny's brother Oliver two days before we got our little one. He is almost twice her size and she still puts him in his place.
I was always told how smart the breed is, but I never really understood until Penny. She learns new commands in a day, and at 5 months she already knows how to heal on the leash, sit, stay, lay down, roll over, shake, high five, back up, she listens to no, she comes when you whistle, and she hasn't had an accident in the house in 2 months.
She is an amazing little girl. We got very lucky with her. She doesn't chew things (except my one pair of shoes). I've never seen a pup so well behaved :)
A little about us: Corey and Stella.
My name is Stella, I am 22, a full time server, part time student working on my B.S. in History, in a small town in PA. My fiance commutes to a nearby town and works as a car salesman. We also have a 5 year old Russian Blue named
Roxie. Corey's parents have a 12 year old Cocker Spaniel named Ivy, who will be in many pictures I post. My father has a Gordon Setter, a 5 year old male named Phoenix, that he got when I was 17. We both come from families of animal lovers.
I hope to get to know you guys and be able to turn to you for any issues with my little Penny. Thanks so much!
