I've been wondering about this with Nellie for a while, and I wanted to know other people's experiences with their puppies and growth.

Nellie's parents are both show dogs, so they should be around the standard for corgis (27-30 pounds). However, I've noticed that Nellie was probably the smallest of her litter around 8-10 weeks and has really small paws and ears for a corgi. She weighed 7 lbs at 11 weeks and about 9-10 lbs at 12-13. I haven't gone in for a vet weighing yet, that's in another 10 days.

Compared to a male Cardigan of similar age (14 weeks) she is almost the same size minus 2-3 pounds.

Is she just small right now because she hasn't hit her growth spurt yet? Should I be expecting a corgi explosion in two weeks?

Thanks~!
