Another Breed
We're looking at potentially adding a new addition into our house. We're contemplating a new breed and I was wondering what experience anyone has had with what breeds are the most compatible. We think it would be nice for Harper to have a friend to bounce around and play with. We're okay with a breed a tad bit bigger, but nothing too large. Thanks for any and all advice!

I like having spaniels, because they give me what the corgis doesn't, and vice versa. Spaniels are cuddly velcro dogs who really really want to please you, while corgis are independent thinkers with a lot of character who command a lot more respect from me. Put them together and I have a complete dog. Add in a hound, and life would be perfect.

How about a cardigan? Well they are a bit bigger, and usually get along well with pems! hehe.
My dogs have always gotten on better with dogs their size or smaller, and they generally seem to like other herding breeds too.
