Be sure to post the link so we can watch your little bundle of joy grow up !
Of course I will! I just want to hold off on making it seeing as I only have a few pictures of her and she won't be home until November! I get to visit her at 6 weeks old after she gets her first vaccination though!
Hi Marissa,
Thanks for adding me as a friend.

Hello, i tried NB before. The food is fine. The reason i stopped feeding my corgi with the brand because of my bias thought of the new share holder for natural balance.
The corgi did fine with the LID, but not with the Ultra premium.
I feed both my dogs and cats Blue Buffalo and I am very happy with it. They have not had any weight gains over the winter when they get less exercise, they are all active and playful. I just think they have all done well on it.
I feed my guy Nutrisca- the lamb variety has no grain or potatoes, and is a low-glycemic food. He was about 3 lbs. overweight when I got him 2 months ago and is down 2.5 lbs, looking very handsome!
This has been an interesting conversation. Over the past year Ramsey has had surgery to remove a tumor, which turned out to be sarcoma. Since then I've worked with some holistic vets to boost his immune system and see if we can delay the progress of the cancer. Here's what he's on now, I make a batch of it each week:
Breakfast (about a cup)
chicken thighs (40% by volume)
collard or kale (40% by volume)
garlic (three cloves)
oatmeal (20% volume)
Dinner
about 8 oz of Bravo Turkey or chicken blend
He also gets herbal additives:
CuraMed (Curcumin)
Maitake mushroom
neoplasene (bloodroot)
dispel stasis
wei qi
Tums (for calcium)
Fish oil
and one that I do not like, but is helping
ivermectin to kill the demodex mange from the surgery stress.
He is doing well for almost 14 yrs old. His coat is beautiful, he's still moving well. The tumor has grown back but is slowing, and the mange is almost gone. Most importantly he is happy and not in pain. I carry him up and down the steps, due to the tumor bumping. And he has lost some strength in his back end so he can't hop up the steps as well.
Ramsey is very blessed to have such an attentive owner. Fourteen years is a nice long life for a beloved Corgi. You're very fortunate and he's fortunate to be fed such a wonderful diet. I hope you have a lot more time with him.
I thought that Garlic, even in small amounts, was toxic to dogs? Correct me if I'm wrong please.
Ramsey is indeed a truly lucky Corgi!
Heather, I used to think that garlic was toxic and was wondering why some dog foods included it. I read that its use is controversial because it can cause anemia over the long term. I think it makes a good case for food rotation.
I feed my corgi blue buffalo but I am thinking of switching him to Back to Basics then Solid Gold when he is an adult but I am going to consult my vet about that in two weeks when we get him his shots.
Edison is on Honest Kitchen -Embark (Dehydrated) for breakfast and dinner. For lunch, I give him a bit of Merrick Puppy Plate (wet). He goes absolutely nuts once I start mixing the hot water into his food!
