Hello All,
We are heading to upstate NY for the holidays from Southern MD. They are getting a bunch of snow today and will be getting more while we are there. We are very excited to see how Monty reacts to the snow as he LOVES leaf piles and bounces through them at every chance. However, as he is not used to such cold temps or frozen wet stuff I wanted ask other northern members if they do anything special for their corgis to make sure they are comfy.
Thank you and Happy Holidays.

Nah nothing special. How old is Monty? George was cautious at first w/ snow, but he loves it now. Corgi's are hearty dogs - they love cold weather. I think George loves winter more than summer what with his double coat and all. We're in NYC, just FYI. It's snowing! Yay!
In fact, just finished a fetch session w/ George out in Central Park, and he was so happy, bounding up and down through the snow like a big bunny.
We have 8 inches that arrived yesterday. My corgi's love the snow they jump like bunnies in it. I would recommend shoveling a path so they can go easily if your dog is older. When they come in have a towel or paper towel ready just in case they have gotten a little wet. Enjoy the snow!!!
