Does your corgi "get in the way"?
My Ein does, and I don't mean it in a bad way. For instance, when I'm folding clothes, he walks over and lays or sits on the piece of clothing that I'm folding and I give him tummy rubs. Or when I'm reading a book for class, he comes right over and sits on the book and of course, he gets pets/tummy rubs. It's like he's saying, "I want all of your attention". I think it's adorable. I was wondering if other corgis does this too.

AJ, Ein sounds just like my cat!
Sid and Bruce get in the way by being always underfoot when I'm cooking dinner, waiting for a morsel to drop.
And when I am trying to read the paper, I could set my watch by waiting for that cold nose "poke" from Sid, his way of saying "put that paper down and pet me"

Haha, like Sid & Bruce, Ein is always on duty to keep the kitchen floor clean! Oh, and Ein also does the nose poke too. When I'm typing, he puts his front paws on the chair pad and launches my arm upwards with his nose. It kinda hurts sometimes, but it's still cute. :)

I was sitting on the couch today with the laptop.. in my lap.. And Winston decided that he wanted to be on the other side of the couch (I was right in the middle) so he CLIMBED OVER ME. And paused right on top of me and the computer. I wasn't even mad. I just couldn't stop laughing. Haha. But Winston gets in the way all the time. He's such an attention-miser.

Oh wow. My Winston does this all the time too. And if I keep ignoring him, he starts licking my laptop screen.

Also, I get a cold-nose poke in the eye when I'm sleeping. "Let me out, I have to pee!"

We all love our Corgi's but, if you give them everything that they want when they sit on you or your homework, then you are doing what they want. You are now the pet. Be careful, cause that shows them that they are Alpha. Big dogs get what they want, when they want. If you want to pet your pup then pet him while he sits at your side not on your homework. He will get the picture quickly. Just like he got the picture that if he sits on your stuff, you will pet him. It's not being mean. Give him rules and boundaries, your parents did and you turned out just fine. Good luck!

Ginny loves "helping" me make the bed. She thinks it is fun to play in the sheets while I'm trying to put them on the bed. When they're up in the air, she gets under them then rolls around when they come down and burrows around. So sometimes I just make the bed with her in it. She always figures out how to escape.

Lola loooooves getting in the warm blankets when they first come out of the dryer!! She gets underneath and snuggles them lol. Benji on the other hand won't let me put the pillowcases back on! He hangs onto one end and pulls it right off =) Like Ginny he always gets under the sheets and I make the bed around him haha

KC loves to help with the laundry, she holds it down so it doesn't run away. When she was a puppy and I was doing some bookwork on my bed she literally attacked the book. Now she just wants to know what is going on and then usually will lay down next to me or under my chair.
All three dogs think they need to help with dinner. The outside counters of our kitchen form a L and KC always lays right in the corner of the L and the two boys lay either between the long part where the sink is and the island or between the short part where the fridge is and the island.
Occasionally KC likes to help with the computer but not always.

Yes, yes and yes! Hahah. Bailey loves to get in my way, and just stand there. I go to fix our rug in the hall and he just stands on it… I go to open the freezer (ours is the freezer-on the bottom type), and he stands in front of it, then of course I go to fill his doggy bowl with his kibble and he hovers his head over it in anticipation. Hahahah…… =D
oh and he likes to attack the yarn ball when im crocheting!
