As I type this, Dax is DESPERATELY trying to get me to play with him. He's laying upside down on the couch with his face buried under my leg, pawing at me and grunting. If we're eating and he wants whatever we have (which honestly, when does he NOT?), he knows we won't give it to him so he'll lay kind of on his side/back, paws up, and paw at the air as if he knows he looks so cute like that and thinks we'll give him something. Then when he figures out we won't, he'll start making these grunting noises and roll around. Or if I'm in a room that he isn't allowed in, he'll lay down right outside the door, nose on the floor, and make weird grunting/whining sounds with an occasional "woof" in there somewhere. When he knows I'm mad at him and I say his name, he'll immediately roll onto his back, paws in the air, and look at me with those pitiful eyes -- of course then I'm not mad anymore. If he wants me to throw his toy he'll go and find it and bring it to me and drop it in my lap, wait a few seconds, and if I don't pick it up, he'll grab it and drop it closer to my hand. What a personality on these little dogs! What does your corgi do to get your attention?
