Hi, this is my first time to own a dog. so please be bear with me.

My corgi puppy is 4 months old, and I just got her from the breeder. When she, Maggie, is sleeping, she breath really fast, like 2 breath every second. Also, most of her body is move alone the breath. Is this normal? I search internet and people claim puppy should breath fast. But I am not sure should it be this fast.... And should her body shake alone with the breath?

thanks a lot.

How is her eating? drinking? activity level? urine and bowel movement? do you know how to take her temperature? I always say if in doubt go see a vet....know question or concerns is ever silly for a vet. Puppies do have higher heart and respiratory rates but that does seem fast, and other problems could make them increase like infection or pain. I would get her check out to be on the safe side. Good Luck!
I just went to see a vet yesterday but forgot to ask about fast breath thing.

The vet check Maggie up and said she is fine. And she is sleeping beside me.
