We searched high and low for a ball that Soffie and Griffyn could not tear up! Griffyn lives to herd a ball. We came upon this company that makes the boomer ball----they even make balls and toys for lions and tigers! They do make a ball for dog herding, but we thought it might be too big for the corgi. So we purchased the smaller cheaper ball. It is made of a hard plastic so it is an outdoor item, but you can fill it with sand or water for a different experience. It isn't a ball for playing catch---just for pushing along the ground. Griffyn loves it---he chases it around the yard and I can't see this ball being destroyed. Here is the website for the ball and other items and a few photos too.

How cute! I'll have to look into getting one for our dogs.
Did you get the 10 inch ball? On their website they recommend getting the heavy duty version if your dog chews aggresively but I'm not sure if I would need that if Ein couldn't get his mouth on it to start biting. If he could then I'm sure he could chew through it... He has a soccer ball but he obviously doesn't get to play with it a lot because he starts chewing it pretty fast.
We did buy the 10 inch ball, and it is very heavy duty. They also offer your money back if your dog destroys this ball. I can't imagine what the heavy duty version can be like ! I don't think your Ein could get his mouth on this ball to chew it up!
Very cool! I tried the Jolly Ball with my dogs and they were both clueless and had no interest with it.

I now use my yoga ball for Bernie and we play some shaping games with her walking and pushing it along the floor.
I had a yoga ball for Duncan, and didn't watch it too close. The next thing I knew, some air had leaked out enough for him to bite into it. I think he had more fun dragging the deflated ball around and shaking it then herding it.
If you consider this ball I think you should also consider the smaller 6 inch ball too---Griffyn has gotten wilder and more aggressive with it, and it is heavy. Our Soffie wants to play too, but I think she finds the ball too big and heavy to handle! We have decided to order the smaller ball too, and give it a try as well.
this is a great ball. harley loves it!! i ended up buying the 10 inch ball. dave the owner of the company is very helpful also.
