Antler chews..
Okay so maybe I'm just being paranoid, but I heard from a few people that antler chews are a great alternative to bully sticks (no mess, no smell, etc.) so I bought one for Dax. It just came in and I guess I never really thought about the fact that it's an antler (duh), and I'm actually almost a little worried that it's going to break his teeth because it's so hard, and he's the type that likes to bite things with his back teeth to try and break it in half. He's chewing on it now and trust me, he's ecstatic about it. He loves it. But I'm paranoid. Anyone had any experiences with these?

I havent had any experience with these so Im not sure, but my vet did tell me that ice can break their teeth!!!

It's not because of the hardness!
Ice can crack teeth because of the fast temperature change along with the pressure. People can have this happen too!
Think about why they say not to pour hot water on a frosted car windshield, same principle.

I just bought some for my dogs to chew on. Duncan will pick his up and chew a little, Chloe does hers rarely. I don't know about breaking their teeth, I haven't heard of that happening....yet. I got them mainly because the price of bully sticks have doubled in the past year.

Sidney has an antler chew and he works on it regularly, but now it's getting too short to do him much good. His wore down gradually. We've had no trouble here!

We got Midas 2 for Christmas and he just loves them. We have lost the one but the other is starting to get too small for him to have it. I'm sure he would swallow it if he could. We are actually get ready to order more. Midas is also the type to chew with his back teeth to break it but we haven't had any problems with the his teeth. The antlers are nice because the really don't splinter and they kinda just shave down over time. We love them!

Gibson loves his too! They won't hurt teeth, don't worry! Very natural for them to chew on them :)
The place I get his from are having a sale and free shipping on them until March 31st, if anyone is interested! (We buy the XL size)

I get a similiar response here in the states. I have found only 2 stores that carry them, but i will be buying them over the internet as the prices are much more resonable. Have you tried an internet search for "antler dog chews"? You may get some results that way.

Tried that and got lots of sites in the USA and none of them ship to the UK, hmmm do I spot a gap in the market? lol
